Dr. Jason Schilder

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse and then went on to graduate cum laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa with my Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

In June 2014, I began volunteering for the annual Peak Potential Outreach health care service trip to provide general health screenings, blood sugar tests, as well as chiropractic adjustments to the underserved and underprivileged school systems of third world countries.  Peak Potential Outreach has partnered with the Shriner's Hospital in Hawaii, making it possible for some of the children they serve to be able to receive much needed surgeries.

I utilize the Gonstead technique and look to the spine for the cause of the problem rather than treating symptoms.  My job is to facilitate your body’s natural ability to heal itself through precise chiropractic adjustments which restore proper spinal and nervous system function.

I hold a state certification in nutrition counseling and have taken continuing education courses in diagnostic imaging, disease prevention and wellness, advanced adjusting technique and pediatrics.  I have been fortunate to serve patients of all ages from infants to the elderly.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your health and wellness goals!

I'm the Chiropractic Assistant at Health by Hands Chiropractic.

I was born and raised in Stevens Point, WI and received my Bachelor of Science Nursing degree with honors from UW Eau Claire in 2003. After practicing nursing for a handful of years, I am  looking forward to taking a different approach to helping patients achieve optimum health.

I am so excited to be a part of this practice and share the attitude towards health and wellness that Health by Hands Chiropractic lives out in the care of it’s patients. I believe that an individual’s overall  well-being is so much more than the absence of ailments, but rather a mindfulness of mental, emotional, social, spiritual and physical aspects of one’s life.

“The secret to change is not in fighting the old, but in building the new.” “How you do anything is how you do everything.”
